There's bound to be some troubles in your life....
When you have a friend let you off at point A, and then you float downriver to be picked up at Point B, there is only one way to get there.
If you have done your homework, or if you have traveled this way in the past, you have some Idea of the obstacles in your way. Even then, the obstacles change: the river level varies; the currents shift; one stroke more or less, and you are in a different current.
You are forced by gravity and current to face the challenges ahead. And, in the end, you are stronger and more confident, and wait in expectation of the next trip downriver.
